The “Google of Renewable Energy Efficiency”

The surface area of solar power plants amounts to 71 million football fields in Europe alone.

Paul Bastianen, founder of Vindico and a recognised authority in the fields of sustainable energy and chemical coatings, saw an opportunity to greatly improve the efficiency of these solar plants using state-of-the-art chemistry and robotics.

Having already secured a patent, Paul is now seeking funding to market Vindico’s coating products to the world. Next to this, Vindico are developing a unique robotic system to apply this coating efficiently.

Vindico is now crowdfunding on Symbid, view the pitch and invest here.

  1. When did you decide to become an entrepreneur, and why?
Paul Bastianen, Vindico founder

Paul Bastianen, Vindico founder

After a long career in SMEs and large companies I had an idea to develop a coating that would improve the efficiency of solar panels, which eventually led to a patent.

I then incorporated Vindico to produce and market this system. Entrepreneurship is in my opinion not only about earning money but also about social responsibility and the 3 P’s: people, planet and profit.

  1. What kind of entrepreneur are you?

According to the Kredietpaspoort personality metrics I’m a driven, innovative and professional entrepreneur with extensive market knowledge.

Personally I contribute to several industry news sites. I also maintain a blog on which I share my expertise on this industry.

  1. In a few sentences, introduce your company

We develop, manufacture and market a unique portfolio of sustainable cleaners and coatings for glass and ceramics. These products improve return on solar energy, low soiling, protect the surfaces and save on maintenance.

  1. Describe the past, present and future of your company

31010After the introductory and development phase, the company is now busy with a global roll-out of its product portfolio. We were boosted by the recent climate conference in Paris which has increased the demand for efficient sustainability technologies.

We are now also developing the robotics to clean existing solar power plants and apply our dirt-repellent coating. In Europe alone there are 71 million football fields of solar panels with low efficiency.

  1. What is the unique value of the products/services you offer?

zonnepaneel2We are the Google or Facebook of renewable energy efficiency. To make a comparison, our competitors are still using black and white television sets while we’re producing curved flat screens. Our product portfolio leads the market.

  1. Give 3 key reasons to invest in your company
  • Vindico produces modern chemical products using state-of-the-art formulas and technology;
  • A huge market awaits the company that can successfully use robotics to apply chemical coatings to existing solar panels;
  • We anticipate a high return on investment – starting with a 7% annual dividend and, in the next few years, an exit with the shares worth at least 50% more in value.
